2022 Reflection
Firstly, we would like to wish all of our subscribers a very Happy New Year. New Year is a good time to reflect on the year gone by and look forward to the year ahead. And 2022 was a particularly interesting year for Micah Liverpool as we returned to the office and began building back to our pre-pandemic levels of service. We maintained our emergency food aid project right throughout the period and, despite some ups and downs, were able to deliver over 12,000 food parcels in the most difficult of economic circumstances. We also set up two community markets at St Dunstan’s Church in Wavertree and at C3 Church in the Everton/Central district. Both have gone from strength to strength and numbers attending continue to grow. As well as setting up the community markets, we have also re-introduced the Micah Liverpool recruitabilty programme and since March have supported 40 new participants on their journey back to work. We also saw a number of staff changes during this period, but overall, we can say that 2022 was a challenging but ultimately successful year for Micah Liverpool. So bring on 2023 and let’s continue to support those who need it most…
Thank You
Micah Liverpool would like to take this opportunity to thank all of those organisations and businesses that supported our emergency food aid projects in December. We were overwhelmed by the number of food, toys and financial donations we received in the run up to Christmas. So THANK YOU:
